on intentions and affirmations

Intentions are articulations toward a desired way of being. Affirmations are positive statements that over time become core truths. Intentions and affirmations can ground us, center us, guide us, and return us to ourselves.

As you scroll through the Intentions & Affirmations I share, take what serves you and leave the rest behind.

If any of the intentions and affirmations I share resonate, I encourage you to write them out by hand. Write them as many times as it takes for it to seep in. There are some affirmations I write every single day. Others seem to rise to the surface depending on what I need to hear that day. Sometimes it takes writing it out five times to really start to believe what I’m writing

I am willing for today to go well.
I am willing for today to go well.
I am willing for today to go well.
I am willing for today to go well.
I am willing for today to go well!

Most of the intentions & affirmations I share come from within and appear on the page as I write. If I intentionally borrow something I read, I make sure to cite that source (e.g. I am willing to put courage over comfort is adapted from Brené Brown, I am so much more than what I fear I might not be came from Chani Nicholas).
